Construction of an Initial Behavior Estimation Network for Organ Deformation Estimation Based on Node-Specific DNNs

(in English) We have been conducting research on a efficient estimation system for deforming organs in surgical simulation. This system consists of two types of Deep Neural Network (DNN) to estimate the behavior of each node in the target organ's 3D volume model, thereby estimating the deformation of the whole object. The first is a DNN, called Initial nodal behavior estimator (IBE), that estimates the initial node behavior when an external force is applied to the organ. The second is a DNN, called Nodal behavior estimator (NBE), that estimates the subsequent temporal node behavior. This paper proposes a new IBE structure to improve the estimation accuracy of the IBE compared to our previous IBE.
