Railway signaling systems using rails as transmission media, such as ATC, have greatly contributed to achieving highly safe train control. On the other hand, wireless train control systems known as ATACS and CBTC have also become widely recognized in recent years. Based on the above, this research aimed to develop a system capable of flexibly adapting to railway signaling systems with various specifications. We investigated system construction using FPGAs. Within this framework, we developed signal processing components, such as FFT, that can be commonly used across various systems using hardware description languages. We then evaluated their performance when actually implemented on FPGAs. |
