Real-time 3D MRI reconstruction models for radiotherapy using MR-Linac.

(in English) To further improve the accuracy of MR-guided radiotherapy, it is essential to grasp three-dimensional organ motion in real-time during treatment.
However, intra-treatment cine-MRI is limited to specific 2D slice information, posing a challenge in capturing 3D deformations, including out-of-plane motion.
To address this issue, our study reconstructs 3D-MRI in real-time from cine-MRI information.
Our method employs deep learning to deform the pre-treatment 3D-MRI by referencing the intra-treatment cine-MRI. The resulting deformed images showed an improvement in SSIM from 0.76 to 0.85.
Visual assessment also confirmed that the model accurately reproduced liver motion due to respiration.
