(in English) This technical report reviews the presentation of the ECOC2025 paper Tu.03.02.2. Free-space organic electro-optic modulator with double-layered dimerized nanometallic grating is demonstrated for the first time. We achieved an enhanced modulation efficiency of $SI{0.18}{nm/V}$ and a 4-GHz EO bandwidth for a $100times SI{100}{micrometer^2}$ device. By reducing the device size, the bandwidth is expected to exceed 50 GHz, enabling 100-Gbaud-class high-speed data modulation. The proposed device is two-dimensionally scalable, allowing a high-density integration of modulator pixels, and thus holds promise for a wide range of applications, including ultra-dense optical interconnects, optical computing, and sensing.
