Real-Time Identification with Multi-Wavelength Terahertz Parametric Generation Using Higher-Order Stokes Beams

(in English) In this study, we achieved simultaneous generation and detection of more than 10 terahertz (THz) waves using terahertz parametric generation, and performed real-time spectroscopy of various reagents. Using stokes beams generated through a cascaded nonlinear optical process inside LiNbO3 crystal as both the pump and injection beams for the parametric source, we achieved simultaneous generation and detection of more than 10 wavelengths in the 1–2 THz range using only two injection seed lasers. Furthermore, by integrating this system with machine-learning–based classification, we constructed a real-time spectroscopy platform capable of simultaneous measurement and identification. We successfully performed real-time identification of ten different reagents.
