The gold thin film electrode with nanostructures has been prepared from surfactant-free gold nanoparticles. This electrode can be directly used in electrochemical measurements without pre-treatment, and gave stable voltametric responses. In addition, the electrode surface was found to be useful for direct electron transfer reactions between the surface and the active site of redox protein/enzyme. |
