Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Flux transfer circuits (FTCs) transmit magnetic flux via mutual coupling in superconducting devices. We previously reported flux transfer circuits called π-FTCs, which utilize the negative inductance characteristic of π-junctions to achieve a higher transfer coefficient than conventional FTCs simply composed of inductance. The transmission coefficient of a π-FTC is determined by the current induced by quantum interference in a superconducting loop containing the π junction, and can be controlled by the critical current value and inductance. In this study, we have investigated couplers with a tunable transmission coefficient based on π-FTCs incorporating a DC-SQUID. Our circuit simulation has shown that the proposed π-FTCs can exhibit enhanced and flexible transfer coefficients over long distances, by modulating the critical current value of the DC-SQUID by applying an external magnetic field.
