(in English) High capacity, low latency, and low power consumption are required for 6G. To meet these demands, the All Photonics Network (APN) has been proposed by the IOWN Global Forum. In the APN, it is necessary to remotely control the wavelengths of optical transceivers installed in the terminal devices from the APN controller.
We report on a novel method for applying APN to mobile front-haul and a remotely controllable SFP-type optical transceiver supporting 25 Gbit/s transmission over 30 km, capable of changing its wavelength from the controller.
