(in English) Optical frequency domain reflectometry (OFDR) was employed to measure strain during the curing process of concrete. A single-mode fiber was embedded in a 400×120×90 mm specimen, and the strain distribution within the concrete was monitored over a 7-day period. The results confirmed that strain changes in the concrete could be evaluated without error at a spatial resolution of 1 cm.
