Bridges, tunnels, and other civil infrastructure are aging, creating a pressing need for efficient maintenance and management. Vibration measurement provides essential information for structural health assessment, and the development of noncontact, compact, and lightweight sensor systems is therefore desirable. Millimeter‑wave sensors, which enable noncontact and high‑precision vibration measurement, have attracted increasing interest. An image‑guided measurement system employing a 60‑GHz millimeter‑wave sensor is presented that simultaneously acquires vibrations at multiple user‑specified points on an image. Signals are separated using positional information, allowing independent recovery of vibration waveforms from multiple locations in front of the sensor. The feasibility of the approach is verified through indoor experiments involving multiple measurement targets. |
