We propose a novel electro-optic (EO) modulator for THz-optical signal conversion using a metasurface structure on an EO crystal substrate. This metasurface structure exhibits transparent properties, allowing THz wireless signals to pass through the conversion device, which enables the integration of THz-optical signal conversion with communication and sensor systems. |
