(in English) Information and communications networks serve as the foundation for supporting the future AI society by connecting geographically distributed data centers and enabling various AI collaborations. In particular, the use of optical network technologies that achieve high capacity, low latency, and low power consumption is indispensable. For the coordination among multiple data centers, technologies that seamlessly connect diverse networks, including user premises and the optical networks of telecommunications operators, are required. When this technology is realized, it will enable efficient sharing of network facilities and rapid provisioning of alternate paths in the event of disasters, contributing to improved reliability and flexibility of the network. This paper reports on a preliminary study of inter-domain connection methods for seamlessly connecting optical networks.
