Using geostationary Earth orbit (GEO) satellites as relays to coordinate low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite constellations is expected to enable complementary coverage extension. In this scenario, the delay/disruption tolerant network is used as the protocol to achieve highly reliable communication between LEO satellites and the GEO relay satellite. However, when communicating with multiple constellations, relying on a single policy for bundle forwarding order control at the relay node leads to a lower bundle transfer ratio. In this paper, we propose a bundle transfer policy selection method using deep Q-network to improve the bundle transfer ratio. Simulation results demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed method. |
