DQN-based Sequential Control of Bundle Transfer Order in Relay-assisted LEO Satellite Constellation Collaboration Systems

(in English) Using geostationary Earth orbit (GEO) satellites as relays to coordinate low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite constellations is expected to enable complementary coverage extension. In this scenario, the delay/disruption tolerant network is used as the protocol to achieve highly reliable communication between LEO satellites and the GEO relay satellite. However, when communicating with multiple constellations, relying on a single policy for bundle forwarding order control at the relay node leads to a lower bundle transfer ratio. In this paper, we propose a bundle transfer policy selection method using deep Q-network to improve the bundle transfer ratio. Simulation results demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed method.
