| （英） | Photoresponsive cholesteric liquid crystals (CLCs) exhibit unique optical properties, including selective reflection and characteristic surface textures arising from their helical molecular organization. In this study, we investigate CLCs incorporating sugar-based azobenzene chiral dopants, focusing on light-induced modulation of the helical pitch and its influence on both reflection behavior and surface texture. Upon light irradiation, reversible photoisomerization of the azobenzene unit induces dynamic tuning of the reflection wavelength, accompanied by distinct changes in the cholesteric texture. The effects of dopant concentration and cell configuration on the optical response were systematically examined. The results demonstrate reversible switching of reflection bands between the visible and near-infrared regions, as well as controllable texture evolution, highlighting the potential of photoresponsive CLCs as tunable photonic materials with coupled optical and interfacial functionalities. | |
