Application of graphene-doped polymer optical waveguide to the wavelength convertor

(in English) The nonlinear optical properties of CNT- and graphene-doped polymer waveguides fabricated using the Mosquito
method were evaluated. In all waveguides, passive mode-locking induced by saturable absorption and wavelength conversion
based on four-wave mixing were observed. Waveguides doped with graphene oxide (GO) were also investigated to suppress
nanocarbon aggregation; however, no enhancement in nonlinear optical properties was observed with GO doping, suggesting an
influence of the oxidation degree. These results demonstrate the potential of nanocarbon-doped polymer waveguides for optical
device applications.
