Multiple sound source localization with two microphones is challenging because TDOAs cannot be estimated independently for each source.
To address this, a method combining Root-MUSIC and mixture model analysis has been proposed, leveraging the time-frequency sparsity of speech.
However, including estimates from multiple sources or no signal bins significantly degrades accuracy, especially with small angular separation.
To overcome this, the present study focuses on the suppression amount of WSC to extract single source bins from three bin types.
Experimental results in real environments demonstrate that the proposed method effectively reduces the undesirable effect of multiple sources and no signal bins |
