(in English) Most TTS models learn to generate speech waveforms from text using supervised training data. However, humans produce speech without training data by controlling their vocal tract. Learning articulatory parameter estimation through reinforcement learning can mimic the mechanism of human language acquisition. The quality of training data used for pre-training articulatory parameters and the design of rewards were suggested to significantly impact the quality of the model's synthesized speech.
