Development of a 100W-class wireless power transmission system

(in English) As a technology demonstration, we are developing a 100W-class wireless power transmission (WPT) system that can operate at power density levels expected in practical SPS applications. This system employs a software retrodirective method for beam control and the. A phase monopulse method was adopted as the arrival direction detection method, and its accuracy under different transmission direction conditions was evaluated. Furthermore, an amplitude control function was implemented in a 100W-class WPT system. A digital step attenuator (DSA) was adopted for amplitude control. This paper describes the experimental results and operational verification of this system.
