(in English) We are developing a 100-W-class wireless power transmission (WPT) system.
The transmitting antenna has an aperture of approximately 55 cm × 55 cm. For wireless power transmission at distances of several meters, the rectenna is placed within the near-field region. Under such conditions, beamforming is key to efficient wireless power transmission. In this study, we conducted an analytical study on beam forming in the region where the rectenna is placed and compared the results with measured data using a near-field measurement system. We examined the antenna configuration for the rectenna and evaluated the power reception of each antenna through analysis and experiments. This paper discusses effective antenna configurations for rectennas.
