Development of a Dialogue System for Supporting Self-Understanding through Autobiographical Reasoning

(in English) In job-hunting self-analysis, individuals are expected to articulate their strengths based on past experiences; however, conventional life-history methods often fragment experiences and limit deep reflection.
This study proposes a dialogue system based on autobiographical reasoning that supports episode-centered self-analysis.
The system uses LLM-based probing questions to extract values and behavioral patterns, and visualizes relationships between episodes using a graph.
A comparative experiment with 16 university students showed no statistically significant differences, but effect size analysis suggests that the proposed method may reduce difficulty in self-analysis.
