As a new environmentally friendly power generation method, Space Solar Power (SPS), in which electricity generated by solar panels in space is wirelessly transmitted to the ground via microwaves, has been investigated. In recent years, along with advances in satellite formation-flying technology, a Multi-Satellite System (MSS) architecture has also been proposed, where multiple small satellites form a formation to constitute a large transmitting antenna. In this study, the power transmission efficiency of MSS was evaluated, and a rectifier circuit capable of high-efficiency operation over a wide input power range was developed. Based on these results, the feasibility of MSS was examined. |
