(in English) The global market for entertainment businesses such as animation and gaming continues to expand, and Japan maintains a strong competitive advantage in these fields. Among these, the VTuber industry has shown remarkable growth. To meet fan expectations for more realistic live performances by virtual characters and for interactive engagement, we have conducted an experimental VTuber live performance and fan meeting utilizing IOWN APN optical paths and self haptics technology. This presentation introduces the results of these experiments as well as future directions for technological development and business expansion.
