Development of Test-Driven Development Support Functions in Visual Programming Environment: AT

(in English) This study examines a test-driven development (TDD) approach designed for novice programming learners, with the aim of addressing and alleviating the difficulties they encounter in program development.
The proposed approach enables learners to identify misunderstandings of assignment requirements or insufficiently considered scenarios by testing their programs against instructor-provided model programs and test cases---pairs of program inputs and their expected outputs---which are typically unavailable in conventional TDD settings, in addition to learner-generated programs and test cases.
Furthermore, to support learners who may lack sufficient prior knowledge to conduct testing effectively, we implemented TDD support features within the visual programming environment AT.
