By distributing IoT data through distributed nodes owned by both users who possess IoT devices and service providers that operate IoT services, improvements in service quality and the creation of new services can be expected. In our previous work, we designed and implemented nodes for a Ticket-based Authentication and Authorization Infrastructure (TAAI) deployed between users and service providers, and proposed an IoT data distribution method using tokens referred to as tickets for IoT data acquisition. As a concrete use case, we assume electricity, gas, and water meter reading data obtained from next-generation smart meters, which have begun to be deployed nationwide in Japan since fiscal year 2025. In this paper, we construct a pseudo smart meter that emulates a next-generation smart meter using a microcontroller board and report on an experimental verification of whether pseudo meter reading data can be successfully distributed in practice. |
