Performance of Millimeter-Wave Single Carrier Transmission Using 4-D LDPC-Coded Modulation

(in English) The present study undertakes an evaluation of the communication performance of 4D-LDPC coded modulation (4D-LDPCM) in the context of nonlinear distortion in power amplifiers and phase noise originating from local oscillators. These phenomena have been identified as the primary causes of challenges in millimetre-wave single-carrier transmission. Furthermore, a simulation model incorporating channel estimation and equalization based on Golay complementary sequences compliant with IEEE 802.11ad/ay was constructed, thereby realizing an evaluation environment aligned with actual communication standards. The findings substantiated that the proposed method amplifies the input power range attainable at a BER of $10^{-5}$ in comparison to conventional LDPC-coded 64QAM, while concurrently attaining a reduced BER under analogous phase noise conditions.
