In recent years, automated electronic circuit design using AI and optimization techniques has been actively studied. One of the major challenges in automated design is the enormous computational cost. In this study, we focus on the sampling process, which is indispensable for driving AI/optimization algorithms, with the aim of reducing computational cost. We propose a layout pattern generation method that improves sampling efficiency. Furthermore, we report the results of an automatic design of the output matching circuit for a 24 GHz-band amplifier based on this method. |
