Countermeasures Against Content Poisoning Attacks using Distributed Ledger and Hash Map in Information-Centric Networks

(in English) Information-centric networking is an architecture that retrieves information based on content names, utilizing network-intrinsic caching to communicate efficiently. This architecture has vulnerability to content poisoning attacks, where attackers disguise legitimate content names to inject and spread fake content into caches, creating a significant threat. Existing countermeasures to this attack include content verification and routing reconfiguration based on feedback. However, these approaches all depend on the operation of specific nodes to implement the countermeasures. Consequently, they inherently rely on trust in those particular nodes. This study proposes a method that routers verify contents using distributed ledgers and hash maps implemented. By employing distributed ledger technology to address trust issues, this approach prevents dissemination of contaminated content.
