(in English) Incident reports play a crucial role in rapid response and post-incident analysis for cyberattacks targeting endpoints.
However, actual attack logs and analysis results are highly confidential, making data sharing and automation difficult, so they often rely on manual work by experts. This study examines a method for assisting in the creation of incident reports that reflect expert analytical insights, using Microsoft’s publicly available endpoint security dataset GUIDE. It employs anonymized public data and large language models. By inputting attack case information contained within GUIDE, the method generates incident report documents including attack summaries, impact scopes, and response details. The reproducibility and usefulness of this
approach are then verified.
