Impression Evaluation of Immersive Content Combining 3D Visuals Incorporating Real-Time Point Cloud Data with Vibration Feedback

We aim to achieve communication that enables users to feel as if they are in the same remote space. This paper evaluates immersive content at EXPO 2025 NTT Pavilion, combining floor vibration with 3D visuals of remote live performances and CG. Results showed high satisfaction (avg. 7.82), with vibration contributing to presence. Findings suggest that life-size presentation and fixed viewpoints are effective for enhancing realism. Although point clouds were less emotionally impactful than live-action, they achieved comparable originality, confirming their acceptance as a novel expressive method. |
