ERD/ERS Analysis for Three Motor Imagery Tasks Using a Wearable EEG Headset

(in English) Electroencephalogram(EEG)-based device control using motor imagery holds promise for applications such as task assistance beyond physical limitations and robot control. However, challenges remain in detecting differences in event-related desynchronization/synchronization (ERD/ERS) among three or more classes of motor imagery when using a limited number of electrodes. This study established a measurement environment using a wearable EEG headset and Lab Streaming Layer (LSL) to record EEG signals during motor imagery of the right hand, left hand, and both feet. Time-frequency power analysis and statistical tests were performed on the acquired EEG signals to detect these differences.
