(in English) In UAV photogrammetry for construction and civil engineering sites, a key challenge is to improve transmission efficiency through high image compression while maintaining the accuracy of SfM/MVS-based 3D reconstruction. This study proposes a method that selects images important for 3D reconstruction based on feature-point counts and GCP information, and then re-encodes all captured images into a video stream while encoding the selected important images at higher quality than the remaining images. Experimental results demonstrate that, for 3D reconstruction using frame images extracted from the encoded video, the proposed method improves 3D reconstruction accuracy under high compression conditions with a compression ratio of approximately 7% or less relative to the original images.
