The final outcome of software development must satisfy the stakeholders' goals. Achieving this requires deriving requirements based on a sound understanding of the problem domain and formalizing them into precise and complete specifications. In practice, however, the diversity of concerns and varying degrees of influence among stakeholders often complicate their needs, making requirement misalignment likely. Preventing such issues demands a multi‑perspective analysis and structuring of goals to obtain an accurate understanding of the overall system. To address this challenge, this report proposes a method that integrates iStar and KAOS to enable complementary analysis of individual stakeholder perspectives and the top‑level goals that the software must achieve. Using this method, we aim to derive software requirements specifications with high validity. We demonstrate the applicability of the proposed approach through a case study involving a "Kakanai Madoguchi" scenario and discuss its effectiveness. |
