Federated Learning (FL) remains vulnerable to dynamic poisoning attacks where existing Byzantine Robust Aggregation Rules (BRARs) often fail to adapt. To address this, we propose an adaptive defense framework that formulates aggregation rule selection as a Non-Stationary Multi-Armed Bandit (MAB) problem. Our method integrates K-means clustering with the Sliding Window Upper Confidence Bound (SW-UCB) algorithm. By prioritizing recent observations via a sliding window, the proposed approach rapidly adapts to shifting attack strategies. Experiments on MNIST and CIFAR-10 demonstrate that our method significantly outperforms state-of-the-art defenses in robustness under dynamic attacks while maintaining negligible computation overhead. |
