[Short Paper] Frequency-Aware Linear-Time Sequence Model for Image Super-Resolution

(in English) Super-Resolution aims to reconstruct a high-resolution image from a low-resolution input. With the advent of deep learning, numerous CNN- and Transformer-based methods have proposed significant improvements; however, the trade-off between a global receptive field and computational cost remains an open challenge. Recently, Linear-Time Sequence Model such as Mamba and RWKV have attracted attention as promising alternatives due to their efficiency. Nevertheless, these models were originally developed for one-dimensional natural language and still face difficulties in effectively modeling the two-dimensional spatial structure inherent in images. In this paper, we propose a super-resolution method based on Linear-Time Sequence Model RWKV. Our method integrates frequency information into RWKV aiming to enhance spatial representations. Experiments show our method better reconstructs fine details and textures compared with a baseline based on RWKV.
