Evaluation of Bandwidth-Adaptive Algorithm for Mobile Communication

(in English) To respond to sudden bandwidth fluctuations caused by handover or band switching, the authors have proposed a Bandwidth-Adaptive Algorithm for Mobile Communication. In the Bandwidth-Adaptive Algorithm, the wireless conditions are obtained, and transmission amounts are rapidly controlled in response to increases or decreases in available wireless bandwidth, enabling efficient use of wireless bandwidth and reducing packet loss. By tuning the parameters used in control, it is possible to improve average throughput, delay, and packet loss. In this report, we present an evaluation of the bandwidth-aware congestion control algorithm.
