In this paper, we propose a method for reducing the computational complexity of iterative soft decision decoding in overloaded MIMO-OFDM.
In the proposed method, the number of search candidates is reduced by estimating high-confidence bits based on their confidence levels,
thereby achieving a reduction in computational complexity. Simulation results show that under conditions of two transmit antennas and four receive antennas,
computational complexity was reduced to approximately 1.6% of the baseline while achieving a 2 dB improvement in performance at the same BER.
This demonstrates that the trade-off between computational complexity and detection performance can be flexibly controlled. |
