Development of a web system that records the actions and situations of on-demand lecture participants

(in English) A drawback of on-demand lectures is the inability to track student progress as in face-to-face lectures. While some e-learning products have a camera-based face detection function, even if a face is detected, it cannot rule out the possibility that students are watching entertainment videos. Furthermore, there is no function to record video operations such as fast-forwarding or skipping. In this research, we will develop a web viewer specifically for on-demand lectures that includes features such as video operation recording, gaze direction measurement, and question presentation to track student progress. Furthermore, we will create a system to analyze and visualize participant viewing patterns and overall statistical information.
