Investigation of Skeleton Estimation Methods Considering Multiple Receivers and Transmit/Receive Antenna Heights

(in English) Existing studies on skeleton estimation using Wi-Fi CSI include both single‑receiver and multi‑receiver configurations. However, the experimental settings regarding the impact of configuration factors—such as the number of receivers and differences in antenna height—on estimation accuracy vary from study to study, and the effect of differences in antenna height, in particular, remains unclear. In this study, we investigate a skeleton estimation method that uses two or three receivers and multiple Wi-Fi CSI inputs. We also conduct a comparative evaluation with a single-receiver setup and examine the impact of antenna height differences on estimation accuracy by positioning the transmitter and receiver antennas at heights corresponding to the subject’s feet, chest, and face. Furthermore, based on the experimental results, we compare the estimation accuracy between the multi-receiver and single-receiver setups to evaluate the effectiveness of the multi-receiver skeletal estimation method.
