To realize an integrated network for railways, we have been developing a high performance router that works as a gateway and selects appropriate transmission lines from multiple candidates. The router has a line switching function that monitors line conditions and switches transmission paths according to predefined criteria. In previous evaluations, delays and packet losses were observed when the router switched from a private line based on local 5G to public lines. In this paper, we propose applying different line condition judgment parameters to private and public lines, focusing on their distinct characteristics. Through running tests on a test track, we verify that the proposed judgment parameters reduce switching delay and packet loss during transitions. |
