(in English) Domain Name System (DNS) cache poisoning remains a significant threat, and alternative countermeasures such as DNS Cookies and Case Randomization are being adopted alongside DNS Security Extensions.
However, their global deployment status and collective effectiveness have not been fully elucidated.
In this paper, we investigate the support for these security technologies among DNS resolvers across the entire IPv4 address space.
Based on our findings, we report on the current state of their implementations and clarify trends in defense capabilities against cache poisoning.
