Signal Transmission Characteristics of DTN under Different Congested Situation in Urban Disasters

(in English) In large-scale disasters, rapid and safe evacuation is essential, and sharing evacuation-related information is highly important. However, communication infrastructure may become unavailable because of base station failures or power outages. Therefore, Delay Tolerant Network (DTN), in which mobile devices communicate directly without relying on infrastructure, have attracted attention as an alternative communication method. We proposed the Moderated Attribute Transmit Order Control method (MATOC), prioritizes the dissemination of high-priority data, but its effectiveness in high-density environments has not been sufficiently verified. This paper analyzes the transmission characteristics of MATOC under different node densities in highly congested situations.
