Music Source Separation Using Multichannel NMF with Score-Informed Initialization

(in English) In this paper, we propose a framework for introducing score-informed initialization using musical score information, such as MIDI data of the target sound, to the multi-channel sound source separation method MNMF. By reflecting structural constraints corresponding to the target sound in latent variables representing the basis spectrum, activation, and basis cluster assignment, we aim to reduce initial value dependence and improve separation performance. Furthermore, the effectiveness of a method that directly reflects constraints in the initial values of MNMF and a method that uses results from single-channel score-informed MNMF as the initial values of MNMF are compared and verified under different conditions.
