With the aim of developing high-performance flexible thermoelectric materials, we are investigating the relationship between the crystallographic structure and thermoelectric properties of materials, in which ZnO nanorods are grown on the surface of Ag fabrics by a solvothermal synthesis method. It was found that when O vacancies are reduced through synthesis conditions, the carrier electron concentration decreases, resulting in an increase in the Seebeck coefficient. This causes an increase in the mobility by the suppression of impurity scattering of carriers, resulting in an improved power factor. |
