With the rapid aging of society, posture estimation using Wi-Fi Channel State Information (CSI) has attracted attention as a continuous and contactless method for monitoring falls among the elderly, particularly in non-line-of-sight (NLOS) environments where direct visual observation is difficult. In this study, we simulated indoor radio wave propagation using the ray-tracing method, and investigated the variations in the Power Delay Profile (PDP) caused by posture changes and receiving antenna positions. Furthermore, Principal Component Analysis (PCA) was applied to the derived PDPs to evaluate the impact of these factors. The analysis revealed that the variance in the feature space is overwhelmingly dominated by the spatial arrangement of the receiving antennas rather than the changes in human posture. |
