(in English) This talk explores the utilization of InP devices in sub-THz systems for sensing and wireless communication applications. Due to their high maximum oscillation frequency (fmax), InP devices enable high gain and low-noise performance at frequencies approaching and exceeding 300 GHz. These characteristics make them well suited for the realization of ultra-high-speed wireless front-ends and high-sensitivity sensing systems, including applications such as radiometry. This talk highlights the recent advancements in high-speed wireless communication systems leveraging InP-based THz devices, demonstrating record-breaking data rates. It also discusses the implementation of amplifier modules for low-noise radiometers operating beyond 300 GHz, emphasizing their role in enabling next-generation sensing capabilities.
