Personality-related impressions can be perceived from human voices. While many studies have investigated the estimation of personality traits from speech, few have addressed the artificial generation of speech that reflects personality traits. In this study, we constructed a speech synthesis model using Mixture Density Networks (MDNs) to realize controllable speech based on the five personality factors of the Big Five theory. We then clarified the relationship between personality traits and synthetic speech representations through statistical analyses of the model's internal representations and generated speech. The results suggest that each personality trait is reflected in the latent distribution with different degrees of strength, and that speech corresponding to each personality trait may be generated. |
