Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Vibrator-driven continuous shear wave elastography (VB-SWE) enables deep tissue elasticity evaluation with high S/N ratios. However, biological noise and subjective data selection often decrease clinical reproducibility. To address this, we propose a Reliability Index (RI) based on the energy ratio of the excitation frequency component for objective quality assessment. After confirming the quantitative response of the RI through 10 kPa phantom experiments, we validated it using clinical data from 7 liver disease patients (44 datasets). The results demonstrated a strong negative correlation (r = -0.633) between the RI and the coefficient of variation (CV) of the estimated velocity, confirming that RI facilitates objective reliability evaluation and standardized data selection.
