For high-quality image and video transmission in underwater environments, DeepJSCC has been studied for application to UWOC. It can maintain a certain level of reconstruction quality even under low SNR conditions. In digital communication systems including UWOC, nyquist pulse shaping is applied and an RRC filter requires excess bandwidth determined by the roll-off factor. In this paper, we propose a DeepJSCC architecture that omits zero-insertion upsampling and incorporates band limitation into training phase. Simulation results show that the proposed configuration achieves higher PSNR than the conventional configuration. |
