Behavioral Authentication for eSports Players: A Deep Learning Approach Based on Input Behavior

(in English) Gaming-related fraud poses significant challenges to the security and fairness of video games. In this study, we propose a non-intrusive behavioral authentication framework for eSports players based on input dynamics. Our method extracts mouse and keyboard input features directly from server-side gameplay replay data. We adopt a player-specific LSTM-based modeling approach and evaluate the framework using a strict match-level cross-validation protocol. Experimental results on a professional Counter-Strike dataset demonstrate that the proposed method achieves an average AUC of 0.954 and an EER of 0.109. These results indicate that gameplay input behavior is an effective and practical basis for player authentication in competitive fps gaming environments.
