Transcript Analysis of $Sigma$ Protocols from a Computational Differential Privacy Perspective

(in English) This paper analyzes zero-knowledge proofs, specifically the distribution of transcripts in $Sigma$ protocols, from the perspective of computational differential privacy (CDP). We view the process of generating communication sequences in $Sigma$ protocols as a randomized mechanism and define actual communication sequences and those generated by a simulator as adjacent data (named as singleton adjacency). As a result, we show that $Sigma$ protocols satisfying Honest-Verifier Zero-Knowledge (HVZK) also satisfy CDP with respect to singleton adjacency. Furthermore, by introducing adjacency relations between witnesses, we examine the relationship between Witness Indistinguishability (WI) and CDP.
